Drove to Peoria IL yesterday and back today. Passed through some of the best farm land in the country. The prairie land in this area always produces some scenes not previously revealed, even though I have drive this route 100s of times. The corn and beans are looking better than they have in years. All due to the great growing weather, rain and heat. My grand daughter, the youngest (14) going on 24 was in a play, her 31st I might add. Hence the purpose for the trip. Had a great time with our son, his wife, and the grand daughter.
